Living with stubborn acne can be difficult but with technology like the Aerolase’s LightPod Neo, Meredith can target and treat active acne. The light-based therapy provides an effective alternative treatment for guests with all stages and types of acne, regardless of age or skin type. Patients who have not seen optimal results using traditional therapies often experience a positive and significant difference when they undergo Aerolase’s LightPod Neo treatment. Additionally, the treatment can be used in conjunction with most topical and oral acne therapies.

LightPod Neo is the safest and most effective laser therapy available for the treatment of moderate to severe acne. The Neo Laser also helps reduce any acne-related swelling or inflammation allowing for expedited healing and decreases the risk of scarring.

The LightPod Neo offers a unique delivery of light that heats the bacteria in the sebaceous glands and surrounding skin to cause bacterial cell death and reduction of oil. The Neo selectively targets water, melanin, and hemoglobin (the three main components of the sebaceous gland). The unique 650-microsecond laser pulse duration heats the sebaceous gland faster than the thermal relaxation time of skin, thus minimizing the loss of heat through conduction to the surrounding skin tissue. This feature, along with the no-contact treatment is what makes this acne treatment effective and painless.
Treatment typically takes 15 minutes. For optimal results Meredith will recommend 3-5 treatments in a series, completed one week apart. No anesthesia or gel is applied to the skin and minimal to no discomfort is experienced. There is no notable down-time and guests may return to normal activity immediately following their treatment.

We invite you to come and experience our uniquely refreshing approach to anti-aging.
