Non-Surgical Brow Lift Specialist in Raleigh NC

Drooping, sagging eyelids and eyebrows can make you look tired even if you aren't. No matter how much weight you lose, sleep you get, or make-up you apply it can be extremely frustrating when your brows look or feel heavy.

Having surgery isn't always an option and a lot of patients simply don't want to undergo elective surgery for an aesthetic concern.

But this doesn't mean you have to be stuck with drooping eyebrows forever. Thankfully, there are other ways to address these problem areas. PDO Threads, Botox, and fillers are all ways we can improve your brows and achieve a non-surgical brow lift at New Life Aesthetics.

If you catch yourself always trying to open your eyes and lift your brows with makeup or raising them yourself for photos - a non-surgical brow lift may be right for you.

      What is a Brow Lift?

A brow lift helps lift and elevate the brow area. As we age, collagen production slows down and nearly stops by the time we reach 40. This means your skin loses its major support system, leading to loose and sagging skin.

The skin and tissues around your eyes are already very thin and delicate so when these changes occur, they are much more noticeable in the eye area. This lack of structure, thickness, and volume causes the skin supporting your eyebrows and eyelid to become thin, crepey, and become a heavy feeling.

Whether it's age-related skin changes or a naturally uneven brow - brow lifts can help open your eyes and give you an overall refreshed look.

By lifting the brow, fine lines and wrinkles can be smoothed and frown lines can be relaxed providing a naturally youthful appearance.

Before the advancements in aesthetic treatments, brow lifts were only achievable with surgery. But now, there are several non-surgical options to obtain a natural-looking brow lift.

How Does a Brow Lift Work?

At New Life Aesthetics we have a few services that focus on lifting and tightening the brow. Depending on your needs and desired outcomes, our team may recommend PDO Threads, Botox, or fillers (or a combination) to lift your brow.

      PDO Threads

PDO Threads stimulate collagen production in the tissue above, below, and around the brows, to provide support and lift the brow. Your benefits will continue to improve over time as your body naturally increases the structure and integrity of the skin.

      Botox

Botox> helps lift the brow by relaxing the muscles that naturally pull down your eyebrow. By placing Botox strategically around the eyebrow area, you can get a subtle lift of the brow once these muscles relax. Botox usually lasts around 3-4 months.

      Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are another way to add a subtle brow lift and rejuvenate the eye area in general. If there is volume loss around the eye due to age, this can cause someone to look older than they actually are.

Adding dermal fillers around the brow area can add volume, reduce any hollowing from volume loss and provide a nice lift to the brow. Filler can also smooth out fine lines and wrinkles and create a more youthful appearance around the eye.

Dermal fillers can last anywhere from six months to 18 months depending on the type of filler used.

What to Expect from a Non-Surgical Brow Lift?

At your initial consultation, we will do a thorough exam of the brow area and talk with you about your concerns as well as goals of treatment. Depending on your goals and your anatomy, we will recommend which procedure (or combination of procedures) will be most beneficial for you.

Botox and dermal fillers both involve making small injections in the treatment area. You will be able to see the results of dermal filler right away whereas it takes 7-14 days to see the full benefits of your Botox.

PDO Threads involve numbing the area to reduce discomfort followed by inserting the PDO Threads under the skin. Once the PDO Threads are in place, you will see a gradual lift and this improvement will continue over time as collagen is stimulated thanks to the material the PDO Threads are made of.
