Walk-in Botox is our new program in which Botox injection treatments can be conducted on-the-spot without needing to schedule an appointment in advance. Allowing for more convenient and spontaneous treatments, this approach is designed for existing patients who prefer or require flexibility in their aesthetic procedures.
All types of Botox injections are available as part of our “Walk-In Botox Raleigh” offer, including:
Cosmetic Botox: Botox is created from the Clostridium botulinum toxin type A. It’s FDA-approved to improve the look of severe forehead lines, crow’s feet lines around the eyes, glabellar lines (frown lines between the eyebrows) and improvement of the appearance of platysmal bands of the neck and lower face.
Botox for TMJ: Because Botox also relaxes muscles, that makes it a powerful adjunct therapy for patients suffering from TMJ disorder symptoms. Botox helps relax tense jaw muscles and thus can alleviate pain. Botox for TMJ is typically recommended as a complementary treatment to other TMJ treatments, but Botox may provide all the relief you need – depending on your symptoms.
Masseter Botox: Neuromodulators like Botox block the nerve impulses that cause facial muscle contractions, relaxing these muscles. Masseter Botox can be injected into your masseter muscles, causing those jaw muscles to relax, reducing their visual prominence. Your face will look slimmer and more narrow, and your facial balance will be improved.
Platysmal Bands BOTOX: Also referred to as Platysmal BOTOX or Platysma BOTOX, it’s an injectable neurotoxin that is FDA-approved to treat Platysmal Bands. The treatment is designed to work beneath the surface to temporarily reduce the underlying muscle activity and improve the appearance of the bands connecting the neck and jaw.
Botox can also be used to treat the following conditions on a walk-in basis:
Migraines: Botox can also reduce the severity and/or frequency of chronic migraine headaches.
Hyperhidrosis: Botox can be helpful in reducing excessive sweating under armpits or on foot soles or palms.
Muscle spasms: Botox is often used to treat twitching and/or muscle spasms, including those associated with conditions like eyelid twitching (blepharospasm) and neck spasms.
Botox is a nonsurgical, minimally invasive treatment for aesthetic as well as medical purposes. Benefits of walk-in Botox treatments include:
The amount of Botox you’ll need to achieve your specific aesthetic goals depends on many different factors that can range from your gender to the strength of your facial muscles. At New Life Aesthetics, each patient receives a personalized Botox treatment plan as part of their initial consultation. One of our aesthetic nurses will spend time during your consultation assessing your needs and answering your questions prior to each treatment.
Before your treatment session, we will spend time reviewing any medications you’re taking, as well as answering any particular needs you may have. Almost all walk-in treatments will be serviced by Amanda Tattersall, who has been specially trained by Meredith and Heather to be the regular face of “Walk-In Botox Raleigh.”
Your appointment will last about a half-hour, and you can walk in during your lunch hour. It’s important to note that lunch hours will be prime time for “Walk-In Botox Raleigh,” so if you want to ensure no wait time, it may be wise to walk-in at a less hectic time.
You can return to your normal daily activities immediately after your treatment, but it is recommended that you should avoid laying down or engaging in excessive physical activity for a few hours after your treatment.
It is best to avoid rubbing or massaging the area treated for approximately four hours after the injections.
Even though you can have the benefit of a walk-in treatment with Botox, it’s important to remember that the week before your Botox injection, you should avoid the following to minimize bruising and bleeding during and after your procedure:
